Snapping Stickers

The heart of ButtSnap is turning everyday moments into collectible stickers. Here's how it works:

Take a Snap

  1. Open the app — you'll see the camera viewfinder right away
  2. Find something interesting: a tiny souvenir, a pretty flower, a cute cup, a unique keychain
  3. Point your camera at the subject and tap the shutter button
  4. ButtSnap automatically isolates the main subject, removes the background, and applies a beautiful white border with a soft glow
  5. Your new sticker appears in your timeline instantly

Tips for Great Stickers

  • Good lighting helps: Natural light or well-lit scenes produce the cleanest stickers
  • Keep it simple: Single, distinct subjects work best — think one object, not a crowded scene
  • Steady hands: Hold still while capturing for the sharpest results
  • Play with angles: Try top-down shots of small objects on a table for satisfying flat-lay stickers
  • Use your photo library: You can also pick existing photos from your album to generate stickers — old travel photos, pet pictures, anything

Browsing Your Timeline

All your stickers are automatically organized by date, like a sticker diary.

Timeline View

Open the app's main page and you'll see all stickers grouped by date:

  • Each date displays all the stickers created that day
  • Swipe through to browse different dates
  • Flip through like a diary and revisit every charming moment you've collected

View Sticker Details

Tap any sticker to view it in full detail. From here you can:

  • Delete: If you're not happy with a sticker, you can delete it
  • Add to Collection: Categorize the sticker into one of your collections
  • Export: Save the sticker to your photo library or share it with friends

Sharing Your Stickers

  • Tap any sticker to open it in detail view, then tap the share button
  • Share individual stickers with friends via Messages, social media, or save to your photo library
  • Exported stickers keep their white border and glow effect — they look great everywhere
