We take privacy seriously. ButtSnap's core philosophy is simple: your photos belong to you and only you. This Privacy Policy explains how ButtSnap ("we", "us", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

What We DON'T Collect

ButtSnap is a completely on-device app. We do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Account information (the App has no account system)
• Your photos (photos are never uploaded to any server)
• Your generated stickers
• Location data
• Contacts
• Browsing history or usage habits
• Device identifiers
• Any form of user behavior data

Technical Information That May Be Collected

To improve app stability, we may receive fully anonymous technical data through Apple's crash reporting service:

• App crash logs (via Apple system services, not collected by us directly)

Such data is completely anonymous, cannot be linked to any individual user, and is used solely for diagnosing and fixing technical issues.

2. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect user data, there is no use of personal information for commercial purposes, advertising, user profiling, or any other purpose.

Anonymous crash logs (if any) are used only to fix bugs and improve stability.

3. Photos & Stickers

This is the most important part:

• Photos you take and stickers you generate are stored entirely on your device
• All subject recognition and sticker generation happens entirely on-device — your photos never leave your phone
• We have no backend servers that receive or store any of your photos
• We have no technical ability to access your photos or stickers
• Collage works you create on the canvas are also stored entirely on your device

4. Data Export & Migration

We support full data ownership:

• You can export all your stickers and collection data anytime from the Profile page
• Exported data is in a universal format and will not be locked into our app
• The import feature supports fully restoring all your data on a new device
• Your data is always under your control — export, back up, migrate, completely free

5. Pro Subscription & Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store In-App Purchase system:

• We do not receive your payment information (credit card numbers, bank details, etc.)
• All payments are securely handled by Apple — we have no access
• Subscription management is entirely controlled by your Apple ID
• We do not track your subscription behavior for advertising or analytics

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses only the following system-level services:

• Apple Camera & Photo Library: For capturing and saving sticker images
• Apple In-App Purchase: For processing Pro subscriptions (if you choose to subscribe)
• Apple Crash Reporting: Optional system-level crash diagnostic service

These services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We recommend reading Apple's Privacy Policy for more details.

We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social SDKs. This App has no ads, no trackers, and no data collection.

7. No Account · No Tracking · No Ads

ButtSnap's privacy philosophy in one sentence:

• No Account: No registration needed, no login required — open and use immediately
• No Tracking: We do not record your usage behavior or build user profiles
• No Ads: We do not display any form of advertising or integrate any ad SDKs

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. Since we do not require or collect any personal information from any user, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children.

9. Data Security

Since all your data is stored entirely on your local device, data security depends on:

• Your device's system security mechanisms (encrypted storage, Secure Enclave, etc.)
• Your device passcode or biometric protection

We recommend keeping your iOS system updated and using device passcode protection.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated policies will be posted on this website. Material changes will be communicated within the App as appropriate.

11. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

• Data Ownership: Your sticker data belongs entirely to you and is stored on your device
• Data Portability: Export all your data anytime through the data export feature
• Right of Deletion: Delete stickers within the App at any time, or delete the App to remove all local data
• Right to Be Informed: This Privacy Policy details how we handle your data
